Solidarity

We feel a sense of solidarity with the men and women who are committed to helping the most vulnerable. Solidarity in our project will be expressed through collaboration and the sharing of resources between member countries of the European Union to meet the food needs of the most vulnerable populations.

Autonomy

In addition to support and training, our project aims to empower managers and, more broadly, beneficiaries.

Food sovereignty

Our project contributes to developing a more sustainable society through quality food. To achieve this, we rely on European cooperation between project partners and, more broadly, on the dissemination of results within our food aid networks.

 

Our partners

Active.

Active is a French association that has been active in the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) sector for 25 years. Its aim is to support project leaders in innovative, socially and ecologically responsible activities that create jobs. Project owners can be groups of individuals, associations, local authorities or companies.

Founded in 2002 and based in Brussels, POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ – PLS is an independent European think & do tank committed to a Europe of solidarity and sustainability, working to defend and consolidate the European social model, a subtle balance between economic development and social justice.

The PLS team, with its solid skills in research, consultancy, European project coordination, socio-professional support and event organization, works in the public arena alongside companies, public authorities and civil society organizations, under the motto: Understand, Connect and Accompany to Act! Support to Act!

With its many years of experience in managing European food projects, POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ – PLS brings to the partnership both its technical expertise and its knowledge of the topic. to the partnership.

As part of the ECHOP project, PLS is in charge of the ongoing assessment and development of the first deliverable, a gallery of role models of European best practice in terms of diversifying procurement.

CEPS.

CEPS Projectes Socials was founded in 1994 and employs 230 people. It is responsible for the management and implementation of socio-educational programs for children, young people and adults, ongoing training for professionals, and innovative research and development, notably through the successful management of European projects as lead partner.

Perspectiv’.

Perspectiv’ is a non-profit association that coordinates food aid in the Comines-Warneton area through weekly distribution of food parcels, management of 3 solidarity fridges, management of two solidarity grocery stores and a soup bar. and a soup bar. Over 180 food parcels are distributed every week.

As part of the ECHOP, we will bring our field expertise and project management expertise food aid in a a semi-rural area. We will also bring our expertise in project communication, through the creation of a graphic charter, communication management and the layout of various deliverables.

The team is made up of a managing director, an educator, a communications officer and people on integration schemes.
